  • Logan Hubble Park
  • Located off of Highway 27, the 400-acre nature park includes wildlife habitats, nearly 2 miles of walking trails, a 12-acre fishing lake, outdoor class room, basketball courts, playground facilities, a volley ball court, picnic areas, horse camp, and shelters available for special occasions.
  • Herrington Lake
  • Located only 30 miles from Lexington is Herrington Lake. Here you will find a perfect playground for many outdoor and recreational sports such as water skiing, tubing, swimming and even cliff jumping.
  • The Kentucky River Palisades
  • Garrard County offers two of the best Nature Preserves around. The Tom Dorman Nature Preserve and the Dupree Nature Preserve allow easy access for any outdoor adventure.

  • Accessible from the Garrard County Extension Office at 1302 Stanford Rd., this 1.1 mile loop is a nice retreat right in the city limits of Lancaster and follows the contours of the Lancaster/Garrard County Reservoir

  • The Old Garrard County Jail is an historic building in Lancaster, Kentucky that was used as the county jail from 1873 to 1986. The property was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
